I'm looking at reels with lower gear ratios to pull cowgirls and large cranks, and want some opinions. I dont feel like spending more than a couple hundred, and the two reels I'd like some opinions on are the Abu 7000i C3 and the Okuma Induron with a power handle. Any advice?

I would say the Okuma Induron with a power handle.

I would say the Okuma Induron with a power handle.

Same here, I agree - the Okuma Induron is lighter and smoother and I have not had the issues I have with the 7001i.

Out of the two, I would go Okuma. Stay far away from that 7000.

Also, they are two different reels consitering gear ratio and spool size. The induron will pull harder then the high spooled 4 :1 type reels.

I would get the new custom Tekota 500 made for Rollie and Helens. 189.99$ It will last, and is perfect for dbl 10's. Awesome reel. You won't be disappointed.
