I was just wondering what are all of your favorite musky lures.
So just put down your favorite, why and what you have caught on it.
I will start by saying my favorite is the topraider

I would probably say most will keep it on the DL, but mine is a glider with a peice of beef jerky hanging off it, why because if they dont eat it I can, what I have caught, a 300lb white female.

Last year Suzy Suckers treated me better than the rest, but I gotta say that I will always be a die hard fan of the Big Game, and Shallow Invader twitch lures.

Ace Tandem spinnerbaits and Gerry's Girls. Ace Tandems - I have caught more fish on so many different lakes than any other lure. Gerry's Girls - got my personal best on these and they also have worked on a variety of lakes. Both baits are also made by two great guys. Jerry ( Ace Tandems) and Gerry (Gerry's Girls). Can not wait until fish are chasing blades again !!!

suick- they haven't found a way to improve this bait. It's been perfect since the '40s. Toss it and hang on. As most anglers can attest to. Careful throwing it into a strong wind. Backlash, at least for me. Caught tons of muskies and northerns and the occasional walleye.

Trueglide Tremor is my curerent favorite bait. Deadly lure for fishing lakes with a lot of weeds once you get the feel to work it the right way for the situation.

I have a Double Cowgirl that has out fished every bait in my arsenal. Even DCG's of the same color. Last year alone 71 of 198 legal fish were caught on that one single bucktail. It has been successful on several lakes in MN and in Canada.

If the DCG isn't getting eaten then I go with a Mid-Lowrider or a Mag-Dawg.

71 on one DCG thats impressive! did you have to replace the wire a few times? - But I know what you mean I had a "hot" DGC last fall but its retired now after 11 fish, as the bait is a mess - only a few strands of flashabou left and the wire needs replaced.

What about flipping the skirt on the DCG and calling it the RCG (reverse cow girl?)

I think that would be my favorite.

it is NOT ILLEGAL in WI. (dane cty) you can even use game fish (bass, walleyes) legal size and count towards your bag limit. read the rules and laws before you think you can call someone out, i have thats how i know.

That DCG that I caught all of those fish on was rebuilt and tuned 6 times. However, I found that the more the wire was bent up the more the fish like it! I did flip the skirts a few times as well! RDCG!

The ones I make with my own hands.... Got 4 I made for my 3 and 4 year old. Only 4 "lil-Grunt" gliders I have ever made and I love them. Signed, dated and a nice little message to my kids on them under the clear coat.

For mass produced baits: 9" weighted SUIIIIIIICK!!! Here pig pig pig!

For me its CJs spinner baits. I fish with them from opener until ice up. I carry at least 30 at all times of all sizes and makes and add more every year. We catch a lot of fish with them and they take a beating.

Worst baits ever in my boat have been large Eagle Tails and DCGs. Never even got a hit on one and its not like they didn't get water time. They look cool, but thats about it.
