Anyone have any opinions on these?

Yes, I do. It's a really good lure. The newest version has great action. In addition to the dive and rise it also has a very noticeable body wiggle. Tom LeBeau who makes these baits is incredibly meticulous on his construction. Last fall he sent me two of the newly modified Sandcats to "test drive". It was one of my last outings of the year and darned if I didn't catch a fish on it. Excellent design and function and beautiful finishes. Can't go wrong having a couple in your box.

I have a buddy that ONLY uses Sand Cats for a jerkbait scenario. You will not find a Suick, Bobbie, etc. in his tackle box. Hey catches some nice fish on them too.

Thanks for the comments. I just ordered a couple in the 6 and 8 inch varieties.
