What do you feed your suckers? How long have some of your sux lived in your tanks?

I don't feed my suckers anything. It makes too much of a mess. I usually will get 3-4 weeks out of them in the fall, never tried keeping them in the summertime though. The best thing you can do is keep the water clean, and rich with O2.
I use a whirlpool pump on mine, and change the water in the tub every 2-3 days depending on how many I have in there.

I don't have a sucker tank but I would assume that algae discs would work just fine, and shouldn't make too much of a mess unless you overfeed them.

I have a sucker tank running from Mid-October to Late November. The water is constantly flushing with a water pump coming from the lake. I don't feed them at all because they don't stay in the tank that long, but people I have spoke with feed them crawlers.
