| We had a guy drop out for our LOTW trip next week (June 27-30) and now have an odd number of guys. Instead of fishing 3 from a boat, we'd like to have 6 guys and 3 boats. The trip currently consists of GregM, myself, 2 other guys experienced w/LOTW and 1 newbie. We all live in NW WI and are fun, easy going guys who love to musky fish.(Does that sound like a personal ad? We love honesty, a sense of humor, and long walks on the beach ... )
We will be going out of Morson on Sabaskong Bay. Some guys are leaving Thurs AM early and some Thurs afternoon. Staying through Sunday.
Anyone interested or have other questions, please email me.

| TECK,
We are back down to 4 people now for the trip. We are staying at Buena Vista from the night of the 27th - 30th. What does your boat look like? GregM and I will either be in his Crestliner 1850 w/150opti or my Crestliner 1750 w/80 Yamaha. If you see us out on the pond, come over and say hi or maybe we can swing by Red Wing and compare notes on the Lake.

| Our group of 4 guys boated 7 fish (44.5, 38, 38, 34, 30, 28, 26). Several other nice fish in the mid-40 range were lost or seen; 1 giant. Most of our action was on undertakers and rad dogs. The best colors seems to be brown/gold/brass/yellow colors but black/red/white combos also produced. Nothing bright though. The only topwater action was on Jackpots but for the most part the topwater bite isn't quite on up there yet.
The water up there is very clear right now for LOTW and the temps varied between 75-77. Plenty of mayflies around which is slowing the walleye fishing down.
Good luck,
Mike |

| Thanks so much for the info!
We are not quite sure whether to fish close to the spawning bays or out on the reefs. Read on the website that the reef walleye bite is on now. That might be a possibility.
Have the fish moved far from the bays yet?

| All (and I mean all except for 1) of the fish we came in contact with were in weeds or weed/rock/reeds combos. We fished a quite a few rocky areas but in spots with no weeds, we didn't see anything at all. I should add that MUSKYLUNATIC also caught a 30", 12# walleye on an undertaker up shallow off a weed bed. Another 21" eye was caught in the same spot by his partner.

| You guys are great at helping a new guy out. You mentioned an undertaker, and I have read alot on this board about them but have yet to see one. Can you buy them anywhere? Are they alot like a Viper or other glide type bait?
When I get back on Friday, I will let you know how we did. Thinking about taking Dean out for the first day, just to get the lay of the land. Do you think it's worth it? I have ran my own boat out of Morson, for about 5 years now, but only for walleyes. This is my first trip in July for ski. |

| Returned on Thursday from fishing LOTW Sabaskong Bay Area. Pike fishing was great! Two in the 36" range and about a dozen 30". Also the walleyes were easy to catch for shorelunch. We did catch 5 muskies but all were small from 24" to 31". We could not find the big girls except for one giant 48" - 50" class we raised. Wow that was cool! |

| Cool CK glad to see you had a good time in canda. As for the undertaker this is an awesome glide bait. If fished right this glider is more erratic than most like the viper and stuff. (VIper is still really good) But you can make undertaker go up and down side to side. I think rollie and helen has them and the other tackle shops. |
