I'm trying to figure out the differences between the different 7000 models. I'm looking at the 7000iCS vs. the 7000i Red.
I'm leaning towards the red due to the brass bushings, but would appreciate insight / experiences.

Basically the same reel but the iCS has shielded ball bearing wheras the i has only brass bushings. If you are trolling it make really no difference but if you are casting the bearings will cast better.

Location: Birch Run		I have a couple of the 7oooi's and they work just fine. I first bought the 7000ics and it lasted only two trips, the lever wouldn't stay back. Probalbly easily fixed but I just exchanged it for the red, since they were out of silvers. The reds have lasted for 20 or so trips with no problems, mostly throwing double cowgirls.
