Jerome, this chat that was done on WalleyeFIRST with Nels Larsen(AKA Skeeter on WalleyeFIRST) has some incredible product that should take care of whatever it might be on your boat.

you would be amazed but go to the dollar general and get a botle of the works.. it will take it right off then give it a good wax and next time your out just wipe the boat off when you pull it out of the water...bill

I deal with this a lot fishing the WI River and I found that Simple Green works really good for this and it won't harm the clear coat. I dilute it to 4:1 in a spray bottle and spray it on and let it sit for about 20-30 minutes and it then wash with the Boat Wash in a Bottle soap. Works real good. If you have scum that has been sitting for a really long time muriatic acid is an option if it's diluted down a lot and rinsed off right away, a bit risky but it eats through every thing.
