Is there a way to delete all the old messages from my boxes without checking them one by one? I have a ton to delete...yeah, that's right, I'm lazy.

Start at the bottom, check the messages you wish to delete, and click on the 'delete' key at the bottom. Should work.

if you hit the word "delete" at the top above the check boxes, it will check all of them for you. then scroll down to the bottom and click the Delete button and they'll all go away. if you clean up your inbox and sentbox periodically, you'll find your private message screens load much more quickly.

Just as a clarification, if you do it as Mike suggests, make sure any messages you do not want deleted are not checked; as he explained all the messages will be checked, and when you click on 'delete' they will all be vapor.
