Great Fig. 8 Action and nice basic chaotic battles with everyday screwed up net action....... A big fish escapes out of a HOLE in the net?????? huh????
How does that happen !!????
Great Video, and fun to watch.

Location: Medford, WI | Wow! I just looked at the preview for two of their videos...they look great! And now, I can't stop thinking about fishing. Good thing I'm in the library trying to study. It was hard to focus before, now I have no chance.
Looking forward to seeing them.

Location: Musky Tackle Online, MN | I just had an opportunity to watch this one as well after receiving a package today. Some of the best boat side strikes and top water action that you'll see compiled into one video. Excellent camera work. Nicely done!

Location: Pelican Rapids, MN | Dude, it is the "Law of Ronnestrand & Sondag" What can go wrong will go wrong!
It was insane - That fish was a good Lac Seul tank. I'd lost 6 fish before that one - and like a Noobie I point at it as my Showgirl went into the 8. I didn't think she even noticed my bait then she circled and wham!
We didn't even know there was a hole in Lukes net at the time - But there was a 18-20 inch circ. hole in it. The fish looked like sausage trying to squeeze through it - I tried to grab the tail right as she popped through. It was a total gong show. But if stuff like that didn't happen it wouldn't be musky fishing!
And don't worry Luke has since replaced that net... It blew out of his boat not to long after that trip. So if your trolling Vermillion and you hook a Big Kahuna, chances are it's his. |

Location: Leech Lake, Walker, MN. | Congrats on the video. I really enjoyed the entire scene. Also loved the music, found the Nathan Miller song on i tunes. Great job on capturing the boat side strikes and the slow mo. An important factor for me was the realistic aspect of spending long hot hours on the water for a chance at a decent fish. It also was evident that you guys had fun making the video. Good luck on the next venture, can't wait.

The percussionist in the Nathan Miller band is a friend of mine - The second I heard that song I knew it was going in a video! They are awesome - The whole album is great "Bombs and a Hustle". They have a new album I haven't heard yet, but I'm looking forward to it.
Thanks everybody for the shouts!

| Watched it yesterday and was really impressed. Way to go Jerry! As already noted, the boatside stuff was awesome and the slo-mo made me drool! We've got open water now, but just woke up to 2" of snow. Better watch the DVD again! Steve |
