Location: Syracuse, Indiana | I had the pleasure of accompanying the Indiana DNR crew this morning in trap netting muskies for the broodstock program. Despite the "spring break" weather (an inch or so of snow on the ground, and a cold wind) we were able to strip multiple fish (the largest female was 46" - the largest male was 40"). According to the crew, including today's take, they are about half way to their goal of 1.4 million eggs. Here's to continued success! |
