I personally haven't used spiderwire but, my buddy swears by it and it is the only line he uses. All the times I've been fishing with him I have never seen a breakoff or excessive fraying. Hope this helps.

I used spiderwire 80 till I found cortland masterbraid witch I like slightly better. Never had a problem with the spiderwire, and a few friends now use it after using my rods. If I need line in a pinch I still use spiderwire, as the masterbraid is not as available.

I sold on Spiderwire. Stealth is all I use. I've used Power Pro and Tuff Line XP, but really like the Stealth much better than those two. Use it. You won't be dissapointed.

Its great line! I throw Stealth 80lb myself on everything - but used the Stealth 100# three year ago no complaints - just overkill IMO for most applications

The bronzeback just refers to the color of the masterbraid I was talking about, they have green this year too witch is what I spooled up with a short time ago. If you have a spool of spiderwire I would definately use it, never had any problems with it, and caught plenty of fish while using it. I just like the feel of the masterbraid better.
