I have a question about buck tail.
What is the difference with metal bead and plastic bead on a buck tail.
Do you just like the classic metal beads or you like to plastic beads.
And what is your favorite color of buck tail.

thanks for answer

i like metal beads because i feel they add flash and weight. i think they add a little flash as well, not that the blades dont add enough. metal are also alot less likely to break. i plastic bead or two along with the metal doesnt hurt though. just my opinion

Plastic beads have their place as a decorative item on the bait, but don't use them next to the clevis. They are a softer material compared to hollow or solid metal beads and will wear down when they come in contact with a rotating clevis.
