Location: Minnesota | Has anyone used that Frogg Toggs rainsuit? Looks light weight. What about the durability? I saw it at the Expo and I thought I would get some input. |

Location: madison wisconsin | I've got one and for the price its not too bad. I bought a XXL. Nice because I can slip it on/off my clothes. They do not take well to hooks though as I found out. |

Location: Chicago | Save your money and invest in something a little better I have a set I'm and not to impressed, it is light and is decent at keeping the rain off but, if you take a seat for any length of time bring an extra pair of shorts. The material feels real stiff and takes a while to soften up, I was disappointed in the set maybe some have had better luck. Just my opinion. |

Location: Antioch, IL | I would spend the extra cash for some good stuff. I've made the mistake of skimping on rain gear.......you just end up wet. The frog tog stuff feels like it's just tyvek.(remember those Camel jackets you could get for camel bucks) |

| Ditto....I have a set that I keep in the boat just in case. In case of what? In case someone who comes with me forgets theirs or I forget mine. Good for light rain or mist. Doesn't stop the wind. You'd be better of with a Gore-tex light weight shell. Buy it a size larger than you need and dress for the weather. The Gore-tex will stop the rain and the wind.

| Frogg toggs have never made a good product. Their earlier stuff tended to pill really bad with use, then they made their later stuff now, which is crap. Tore a pair of pants almost when I got them. I will never get another pair. There is a somewhat similar item made by 3M, and I wish I could remember the name, they are much better in the same light weight niche. I would still advise light goretex though as the only decent thing to get. I still have a 20+ year old jacket and pair of pants and those suckers have had a LOT of wear, and yes I need to glue the pockets shut, but the raincoat is still good and so is the zipper. I would bet on exceeding 200 days total in those 20 years. Still comfortable. |

Location: Davenport, IA | I love my frog toggs. I can wear them when its 90 degrees out and not be too hot. And, they keep me dry. They are not durable or warm, but they aren't designed to be. Its $50 a set, don't expect them to be gore-tex. |

Location: SE, WI. | I went the expensive route and bought the riverswest light weight rainwear. I sent back both garments and the third raingear garment leaks also. This rainwear costed well into the $300's. Rain comes through the zippers after about a ten minute downpour. It has a nice outer shell but does not keep you dry. A steep price does not always insure you a good product. Bought this garment in 06. It has a ten year leak proof guarantee. They said I used up my quota for new garments. Won't reimburse either. VERY SAD!!!
BUYER BEWARE OF THIS CO. DOES NOT STAND GOOD FOR WARRANTY ...RIVERSWEST!!
Go to Cabelas...They stand by there product!! |

Location: Antioch, IL | You can find top quality gear for some really good prices if you look around. I have had great success with sireatradingpost.com. I got my Helly Hansen Rain gear for 70% off retail in their bargain bin. Love the stuff. Great site for all kinds of outdoor gear (camping, biking, sun glasses...) Also a company called Campmor (that's how they spell it). I haven't used them in a while, but I remember some really good deals there also. |
