Hey guys!!
Man this is a great site. I have now wasted a full day yesterday and this morning at work, reading through the posts. I am going to make the jump and try making a few crank baits for the upcoming season. I currently make my own bucktails and have always wanted to try the cranks, but didn't know the correct steps to making a quality bait.

I was wondering if thier is an old post with a tutorial of sorts that describes the process of finishing the baits. I have a lathe and can turn the baits myself but am wondering about how to seal, paint, and topcoat. How long to dry, what are the best products to use, best paints, etc. Any info would help.

Thanks in advance.

Thats like asking little kids whats their favorite junk food. Tackleunderground has some tutorials, and some on youtube.
