Hi All!
Relatively new to the forum, one of the things that blows my mind is how you guys can post a lot of 50 or so lures on the buy and sell and know the brands, sizes, colours, hook sizes, moon cycles when completed and probably what colour underwear the guy was wearing when he made them.
I just purchased a large lot of 5 tackle boxes full of around 160 musky lures and I wanted to try and figure out what they are. There are the few obvious ones with mepps and bluefox written on some of the bucktails and rapala written on a few of the lips, but other than that, I got nothing.

Any assistance you could provide with this would be appreciated.
Thanks,
Matt

My wifes going to kill me because I am running late, but this is too much fun so I managed to snap off another pic. this is too easy for you guys!!!

Matty, post some pictures. I'd bet between all of us we could identify everything in the box! Sounds like fun!

I have to run out so only had time to add a couple pics. I can go through them tomorrow or even later tonight and add a bunch more. As I said, there are about 160 lures, some are the same, but there is a lot of variety. Anyways, thanks for the help and lets start "Name That Lure!!"

Michael, the 2 on the right in the bottom picture are Lindy Big M's.

Then in the bottom picture, (not sure what the first 3 are) but you have a pig, 2 of the Len Hartman musky bugs I believe they were called, and it looks like a couple of flatfish.

This has been a lot of fun and knowledgable for me so far, thanks everyone. I have added a couple more pics, I dont know about the bucktails as I understand some people make their own. this will probably be the last couple pics as the rest are similar to the lures I have posted or mepps, blue fox, believers, rapalas, etc. Ones that I can identify myself. Now, if I can figure out how to use them, maybe I will get a trophy!!

Also, what else would you add to your collection if this was your arsenal?

Thanks again,
Matty

4th picture from left is:
Hawg Wobbler, Not sure (pikie minnow type bait), Jointed Depth Raider, Straight Depth Raider, Poes awaker, Slamer Minnowbait, looks like a custom painted Rapala.

Not sure about the bucktails. I see a few Harrasers in there though.

I don't know what you paid for it! But it seems like a really nice variety of lures! especially if your just starting out! You have the whole water column covered! I would add the things that Rivermusky suggested and call it over for awhile(yea right)! BTW...If you think your wife's going to kill you now, wait till you really get hit with the "MUSKIE MADNESS" and "LURE BUYING ADDICTION" and "A FOLLOW ON YOUR LAST CAST" and "1000 MORE LAST CAST" and ETC...ETC...ETC!!!!!!! (LMAO) Some even go as far as having their paychecks direct deposited into Rollie & Helens bank account! Feel free to chime in fellows! Also, request a R&H catalog! You'll look at it so many times the lure names will sink into your brain after awhile!
