Designed specifically for Esox...
The all new Swimmin' Cisco, this was the 'secret lure' OutdoorsFIRST showed you at the ICAST show last summer. Kick fanny action, a dead ringer to a live cisco, extremely tough, and a Castaic....this one looks like a winner. Castaic will be at the Minneapolis Muskie Expo, stop by and run the new Swimmin'Cisco in the swim bait tank in the Castaic booth (number 438). Talk Muskies with Jon, too...you may not get out of the booth for awhile!!
The PDF shows color options and the internal harness.

| Considering the bass size Castaic swimbaits range from $15-30, I would guess these musky sized baits will go for $40-$50 each. Pretty pricey, however they look like high quality baits that will last a lifetime. I know I'll be getting a couple this year. Thanks for the PDF with color chart Steve - Castaic's own website does not have the "swimmin cisco" listed yet. Great looking baits though, I really like the firetiger and madshad patterns! |

| Has anyone used the savage gear 4-play jointed lures. I imagine they have very similar action. Or should I ask - Has anyone caught fish on the savage gear lures? Some of the savage gliders look nice too but I have yet to try any of them. |

The 10" trout that use the same construction are $30. |

Location: North Metro - Twin Cities | Some information on the Castaic products at the show. The MSRP is $29.99 but expect the strong posibility of some show specials. Stop by and see my cousin big Jon at the booth. He loves to talk muskie fishing and you will have a chance to see these lures in action. I had a chance to toss some of the baits last year on the water and love the action. Chris Munchow |

I only had the prototype Cisco’s and trout body’s for one day so I really didn’t get too much actual fishing time. Mostly I was just tossing them to check out the action and see if I noticed any difference over other swim baits. Both lures have that Inner armor construction which makes a wider gap between segments and yes they do have a more erratic kick compared to other swim baits I have used. I like the breakaway hook system which should help keep fish hooked up. I have mentioned to Jon that I would love to see them make a version with the hook or hooks on the side or top for shallow slop fishing. I can’t speak for the Cisco’s but the trout body has been a great producer for many anglers.
