Location: Madtown, WI | So I must admit, this was my first time tearing down an abu 7000iC3. I've always been able to find my way around in an Abu but these are quite a bit different. The problem was the spool release lever was popping up during mid cast. I opened it up and found a spring snapped in half and for the life of me I can't find where it came from. The schematic doesn't help either since it just shows the spring floating. The part number is 1116142 shown on the schematic, which I have attached.
Anybody know where this spring is suppose to sit? Is this a common problem with these? Should I order a couple extra? Thanks guys.
