I've used power pro for the most part in the past years but have also tried the spiderwire ultracast.
Anyone recommend Fireline? IYO What are the pros and cons of the "tracer" braid?

I have a big spool of 65# I'm wrapping my Okuma spools with this year, I'll let you know. I've used Fireline for 'eyes for years, great line.

WalleyeFIRST did an interview with the folks from Berkley about the Tracer Braid at the Northwest Sport Show a couple weekends ago. I will try and get it up tonight so you can see what it's all about.

FL Braid is a much tighter and rounder weave than any other line out there. It uses 8 strands in the weave as opposed to 5 or 6 in other braids. The inreased braid count makes it rounder and smoother and less water absorbant.

The Tracer color gives you the advantage of both low viz nad high viz in one line, plus it just plain looks cool when you cast it!
