Subject: reel seats?

I bought an Avet for throwing bucktails but the reel doesn't fit on the flat style reel seats. It fits on my Fig Rig seat and it's a fuji seat thats a rounded seat. Are there alot of different fuji style seats? I can use the clamp the reel came with but palming is a little uncomfortable. I'm thinking of ordering an 8' okuma rod but I'm not sure what the reel seat is like. I'm hoping it's the rounded style. Anyone know? Is anyone else having this issue?
Thanks for any input,
Jim

It fits good on my Fig Rig. It has a Fuji DPS 22.

the fuji real seats that are rounded are not based on the style of the seat but rather the size. Size 20 and 22 are rounded. Most musky rods have a size 18 and 20. Hope this helps.

If the reel feels loose just cut up a bicycle innertube to match the size of your reel seat and use it as a shim, keep adding shims until the reel seats properly

The EVX-C-861H-T has a DPS 20 Fuji Reel seat. I don't have a sample of the XH but it should be the same seat. It is round as someone earlier mentioned.
