| After talking to many of you on the phone or e-mailing you once in a while, it entered my mind that maybe we should mark up a map and find a spot in the middle and have a meeting of the rats from the basement. It could be a fishing meeting, or a stand around and BS meeting, but I really think that it would be cool to convene a meeting of the minds and see who we are.
Let's kick it around for interest and see what kind of interest there is .

Location: Eagle River, WI | I think this is a great idea, I can't believe anyone hasn't responded. I don't even make baits but I would love to meet some of the talent that hangs out in here.
Maybe next winter? |

Location: In a shack in the woods | i am not a baitmaker yet but have a few ideas. maybe a basement bait fishing outing then a bs session afterwards, or a basement bait trade. everyone could bring something they made to swap. that way you can try some other peoples baits they made and get some new gear for stuff u are already good at making. just ideas. idk |

Location: Grafton, WI | I've been out of lure making since the kiddies started showing up, but I still frequent this thread and plan for the day I put my workshop back together (moved 3 years ago and all my tools are still on shelves ). I like the lure swap idea too... everyone throw a bait in a bucket with a number on it, draw numbers for a new bait.... |

| I could arrange something at the Green Bay Yacht Club. It would only cost $25 to use the club. Lots of room, cheap drink prices and you could use the harbor to throw your baits. |

| Hey Tilky, the GBYC sounds like a great idea. Let me know if and when this would take place and if I can be of any help. I live about 40-50 miles from GB but I think this would be awesome. Ken Schmitz |

| I just need you guys to figure out a couple of dates, I'll see if the club is open, then let the party begin. It could be a go place for you guys to sell your lures to the people that don't travel to the other shows and even hold a swap meet if you like. All I am doing is trying to help you out with a nice place to hold it. |
