I have a Lund 1800 Sport Angler OutFitter Edition and am looking at the
80lb Terrova w/Universal Sonar or The Moter Guide 75lb Wirelessw/US.
Anyone have these units? Input would help. Any problems with the universal sonar as far as detail etc. The Motor guide looks pretty good with the price and no wires all over the place. Help.

I like the Terrova with AP,US2 and if you want the wireless option buy the co-pilot for it.

I have the Terrova with US2 and CP. Very good package. I do get some interference on my graph. I'm not sure yet if it's in my settings on the graph, or if you just "lose some in translation" when not using a Lowrance 'ducer. Either way, I do like the motor and the CP, the CP being my favorite feature and why I bought the TM in the first place.

I have run the MotorGuice Wireless for the last three years. Bulletproof, strong, easy to use, foot/balance/ease of adjusting friendly, all in all a very nice motor.

Sworrall,
Do you have the US on the motor and do you get good readings?
Is it quiet? Do you like the wireless? I'm looking at the 75lb 24V.
Thanks in advance.

I do, and it's fine. The motor is fine as far as noise, except fr a 'beep' each time a command function is executed. I got used to that real fast. I REALLY like the wireless pedal, it's small, light, easy to use, and has been bulletproof to date.

I also have the wireless 75. I have been using it the past 2.5 seasons and love it. Very quiet without any graph issues. Very easy to stow or deploy. Plus, there are times where I need to remove it from my boat. I can remove it and reinstall it in less than one minute. It is awesome!!

I'd go w/ the Minn Kota...I would never own a trolling motor w/ out the auto pilot feature...at least 50% less dancing on the foot pedal when you use AP correctly....allows you to slip structure easier and is very useful after the fish is in the net....my 2 cents
