Yeah, cut the tail off and add the color tail you want on it. (obviously you must cut the tail off two dawgs, but if you get what you want, then it's worth it!) I just melt them together with a flame and it works great for me...

Or you can go to Shack Attack's website and buy replacement tails. You get 3 tails for $7

Or buy a Medussa? They have 3 tails, work with 3, 2, or 1. Pick up some "Spike it" and you can color any tail any color you want.

Made from durable plastic too.

After seeing Saric use the Sharpie on MuskyHunter TV I tried it on one of my dawgs. Made a nice jailbird pattern on a orange and yellow dawg, however, the sharpie bled to some degree across the entire lure not terribly but enough to dull the brightness of the yellow parts now. I told myself I would never use a sharpie again.

Use this to paint your plastisol lures. Works great, does not run and sticks very very well.

I use it to add color to the tips on my tails and side bars.

Try using paint markers....they are available at Walmart, Kmart, Hobby Lobby, etc.....I have used them on Dawgs and they seem to hold up pretty good and do not run. Just make sure you allow enough time for them to dry completely. They are also great for blades, wood and plastic lures.

Good Luck
