Do they own Musky innovations? I visted their site and I saw a ad for the bulldawg rods, and they have a tube that is a variation of the titian tube.

From what I know they are the manufacturing/consulting "arm" of MI. They make lures for others like Matt Lures, GruntDogTackle, Spence Petros rods and some other lure&rod companies from what I hear. Don't hear a lot about them in the musky world but I think they have made the MI stuff for some time.

I agree with tackle booty, suprised you actually got to have that one I had to take mine down.
Back on topic though, they look like really good baits so I may have to find some place around here that has them.

I've talked with Rick Quade about a lure before and he took good care of me. He owns Trophy Technologies which makes the Bull Dawg rods and others and Trophy Tech 'owns' Reaction Strike; at least that was the impression I got from Rick.

Trophy tech does in fact own MI and Reaction Strike. The contact addresses on bait packages were the same last I checked.

Public perception and actual business practices are light years apart. Man, this is a VERY funny industry/business.It's a race, but it's not if you win or lose, it's how you run the race. Hahahahahaha.

Mattlures has rods now, which are made by reaction strike. But they do make their own lures to my knowledge.

If your on the Reaction Strike page, check out the woodwhacker. Awsome topwater lure that landed me a 46 1/2" and a 51 1/2" (my personal best) last year. The hooks which come on the lure are crap, but for the price of the lure, you can change them out. Go with the 7.5". The 10" didn't have the same type pf action.
