Yesterday was my last day on Kinkaid for three months, and today I head up north. Water temps on Kinkaid are climbing steadily, and have already hit 80 degrees. This has been by far the best year I have ever had on Kinkaid, and sorry I haven't done any posting, but I haven't had any days off. The final count so far is 165 muskies over 30 inches already in my boat out of Kinkaid. THis lake is definitely on fire, and cant' wait to get back down here this fall!! See you guys up north this summer!!

Chad,
Stop in at Worrall's Hideout sometime while in the north.

Sounds like you had an absolutely fantastic Spring![]

Chad - Just got back from Vilas county (I live in St. Louis). 55 was a mess with road construction all around Springfield; you may check on 57 but I heard it was worst.

39 North bound near 88 was a mess. Stood still for over 40 minutes on the drive up. Madison area (1 hour stop and go). Past Portage, no construction..

Good luck in the Northwoods..

Thanks for the tip, I will try to drive around it, but you know how summertime construction is, big pain in the butt!! I will be nervous as hell pulling my brand spanking new Ranger 620!!!!

Chad,
You won't have close to a problem towing the 620. Only thing to watch is in the toll booths. The width of the boat is tricky, if you have I-Pass you're golden.
