| Will the New Abu Garcia 7000 "Pro Rocket" "HSH" " IC3" big oversized power handles fit on the old school early 90's 7000's???? I have a late 80's early 90's syncro which i'd love to put one of the "new" monster power handles on but im not going to buy one just to find out if they'd fit. Any suggestions?

| Yes it will fit a 90's 7000 but not the Synchro because the Synhro has a differnent style drag that actually depends on the handle. Now Abu does make a 7000i Synchro again but I don't know if they will interchange but I bet if you call them at 1-877-777-3850 and ask them they will either be able to tell you or call you back with an answer after they try a new handle on an old reel. | |
