I just comfirmed my 2010 date for the Operation Muskie auction with Justin. A really nice guy and this looks like a great place on LOTW. I'm really excited about going to their camp and my day with Jack Burns.

Maybe this would be a good place to have a Muskie 1st outing

i've spoken with Justin Gaudry from Mylie's Place a number of times as a part of the Operation Muskie auction. i haven't personally ever been to the resort, nor to the Sabaskong Bay are of LotW, but if Justin's positive and giving attitude is an indication, i'm sure this would be a great place to stay.

I'd like to thank Justin very much for his donations! Great guy, Great resort!

The winner will learn much from Jack, best fisherman I know!

Thanks for the kind words, guys. My parents were glad to "ok" the donations so we could be of help this year in a small way. I really was awestruck at the way the muskie community, centered around MuskieFirst, came together and put up a huge number for Operation Muskie II. We appreciate OM organizers giving us a chance to contribute to a great event.

Ours really is a minor contribution compared to that of the Walshs at Baystore. I have not met them, but it is great to be in the same "community of LOTW resort operators" willing to donate their entire facility during prime vacation time periods two years running. That is really something special. If I ever end up visiting the NW Angle, I'll be looking them up for sure and would suggest others do so as well.

However, if you are planning a trip to our area, we would love to be one of the places that people think of when planning a trip to Sabaskong Bay. We certainly feel we can offer people great value and everything they need to enjoy their vacation.

It will be great to meet Mark, Jerome and the rest of the anglers that they will have in their respective groups for their trips to Morson. I'll be ready and willing to offer any assistance that I can.

I love talking shop and obviously muskies in particular so feel free to get in touch anytime. I tend to be long winded on boards (as you can see already!) and emails because I get excited talking about fishing and wanting to get people up to Lake of the Woods so I'll force myself to wrap it up and encourage anyone to contact me about anything concerning our area of Lake of the Woods. If I can't help you out, I'll talk to someone that can and relay the information.

Looking forward to donating to next year's OM: 3 auction already.

Have a great season everyone!

Justin Gaudry
