Location: Almond, WI | All time favorite: My cousin's flame blade/black tail Skimmer. Showed, caught and lost more muskies than any other lure I've ever seen. I caught my first musky on it actually. From my collection it's a chartreuse blade/black-chartreuse tail Mepps Musky Marabou. I don't think I've ever thrown it without at least seeing a fish on it. Third is a shimmering shad pattern straight ShallowRaider that I mostly use for twitching through thick weeds during mid-summer. |

Aaahhh.. the ol' spoon and rind. Something magical about a piece of pork fluttering behind a wobbling spoon for pike. Never tossed'em for muskies but I can imagine it would be a great lure to work thru the weeds and drop into pockets. |
