Example: I fish large rattle traps on shallow rock bars and flats. |

Location: madison wisconsin | I am going to change it up this spring. I always went small in the spring- thats what everyone told me then. After talking to a few guys, my thoughts have definately changed. I'll try bigger baits this time. |

Location: Hugo, MN | Shallow Invaders, Regular Bull Dawgs, any topwater, Suicks and spinnerbaits. That's not ten, but that's about all I throw in June. Works for me on shallow milfoil filled metro lakes here in MN. |

Location: Southern W.Va. | Lots of fish caught on Rapalas and the like in the spring. Personally I throw Rattle Traps (1 oz.), 7" bucktails and 1 oz spinnerbaits. My crankbaits selection is more of a 206 Jointed Crane and Slammers type .

I've bought so many 'big' baits the last few years that all my other lures now look small to me.
But for me:
- musky marabou, buck-a-bou, #6 Musky Buck, & spinnerbaits
- shallow invader, crane 206, 7.5" grandma
- 6" phantom, suick, hellhound,
- top raider |

| Small to medium gliders worked very slow. My first pick.
Minnow baits like Big Games and Grandmas, pulled and paused.
Bucktails and spinnerbaits.
Small Curley Sues
Crankbaits 6" or so.

Location: Duluth, MN | Shallow weedbeds connected to spawning areas. Theres one great spot on my home lake...small neckdown entrance to a very large shallow bay...right outside the entrance to that bay is a pretty good sized weedbed going out into the main lake. MONEY!!!
