Wouldnt you know the one day I get to fish this week and we are going to get a cold front the night before. Do any of you have any suggestions? And NO staying home is not an option. I will be fishing In Indiana waters. It has been pretty nice weather and now we are going to get storms and some rain and a cold front Wed. night. I am the new guy on the block and could use any help I can get.

Thanks, Eck

Eck...

Golf is always an option....[:sun:]

If the fish have turned off (depending on your timing to front coming through) get right in front of them and try downsizing on baits.

I don't know anything about Indiana water but at home they will tend to move very tight in the structure and may get a little deeper depending on time of year.

You could try:
Smaller crankbaits cranked down in the weeds/edges, like smaller Bagleys or Lil' Ernies.
Smaller size spinners like Violent Strike's smaller model slow rolled deep in the pockets.
Jig/creature combinations....
If they are really tight in the slop and you have difficulty with the above. Try Mania's Doc topwater bait..work it slower.

A few things to keep you occupied on your day off...

Good luck

The only thing I can tell you is Jerk baits, Jerk baits and more Jerk baits. If you find an area that you have a lot of follows, then resort to a jig and really work it over. Muskies will still take a Jerk bait on frontal conditions. Just keep at it.
