i checked out the archives on this and came up with either a cork or plug in place of the drain valve. i found a plug at home depot but the threads dont match, guess ill try the cork. valuable space wasted, this pisses me off, i guess its a common problem though. its a crestliner 16 angler tiller if anybody has any other thoughts on this dry me out if you can.

not sure what you are after? I had a problem with a crack in my livewell and went to West Marine and bought rubber plugs to put in the inlet and drain line you will also need one for the vent line if you have one. This kept me nice and dry until I could pull the livewell out and actually do the repair. and the plug system works well to turn the livewell into a dry storage area. Just remember put the plugs in at the transom, that should keep all the lines dry so that no matter where your leak is you stay dry. hope this helps.

all i need is a plug in place of the drain pipe so i can use it for storage... the drain pipe screws in and keeps turning like its stripped and always lets some water in. thanks for your input on the plug system...
