| This is a first for me, I headed out with my partner this morning around 5 am, our first spot my buddy boated 1 pike and 1 34" muskie, yesterday i had spotted a few nice fish at another spot in our milk run, so we packed up and headed there. after a few casts my buddy hooked into one of the nice fish i had spotted the day before, it was 41 1/4, about 10 cast later i hooked into another nice fish it was 40 1/4, a few minutes later i hooked in to a smaller fish and i lost it boat side. we managed to boat a few pike and lost one other nice muskie before my buddy had to go, so i drove him to the boat landing and headed back. Once i returned i hooked into the big fish i had lost before we had left, it was 41 1/2" and that was the biggest fish i had to net by my self, i was alittle worried. Then i didn't see a fish for about 20 minutes. Then I herd something behind me, it was a muskie chasing bait fish so I moved down to were I saw it, and she hit, I thought it might be the biggest fish I've caught, she was very strong and took a couple of runs, once I got her boat side it ended up being the strongest 35"er I've caught. So now i'm casting into the weeds rather than the edge, a few casts later i boated a 28"er that won the battle, I was trying to remove the hooks and the fish shook and my thumb went into the fishes mouth, some how both thumbs and one index figure were torn apart. after putting bandaids on the three fingures I was still able to cast. on that next cast I boated a 33" pike, on the next cast I had a 39 muskie bit me on a figure 8, I lost it, and then on the very next cast I boated a 30"er.
For the day it was 1 34" 1 41 1/4" those were my buddies and for me 1 41 1/2"
1 40 1/4" 1 35" 1 30" and one 28"er that got the best of me.
The best day of muskie fishing I've ever had!!
