what is the recreational and fishing pressure like on Lake Julia? we are looking at a cottage for sale on that lake. we are on a quiet lake (North Turtle) right now are are looking for a bigger place and one closer to wausau. thanks!

Very good Musky Lake, I fish it a lot but some of us like to keep it on the down low!lol. I dont think you would be diappointed, good panfish lake and bass lake. You will get some nice eyes and decent pike. I pretty much stick to muskies I have a friend who lived on it as a kid im 37 and have fisahed it for over 25 years give me a shout we'll go nail a pig!

I learned to musky fish there actually. Nice lake, watch out for the gravel bar coming off the small island near the launch. There's usually a few jet-skis during the summer, but very manageable. The landing however is not the best. Had some pretty decent crappie action there this spring.
