Give the new Lund a shot I saw it at the Boat Show here last weekend with a show special price tag of $61,900 . . . |

| It really is quite irritating to see people get a new boat every fricking year. In the real world if your wife let's you get one every 6 or 7 your lucky.

I agree with Troy, the best day is when it is paid for. |

| have made the move to the restored, vintage and paid for option for toys the past few years. it's a far-cry from new, but because they are classic vintage and fully restored they still look cool, go fast and i'd argue can be even more rewarding to both own and show off.
because in the end it is just "showing off" ... lol |

I disagree. Isn't the "Best" day as a boat owner the first day you have it on the water? |

|
| One more vote for the day it's paid for. When you pick it up, pay cash, and take it to the lake and boat a fish all on the same day ... sweetness! |

| First day on the water in mine resulted in a chipped prop and the rear trolling motor bent like a pretzel. Was not my best day, but it was paid for!!!! |

Location: Kronenwetter, WI | Iagree about all these guys getting new rides every year. Everyone must have sponsorships and get them at discount, the depreciation hit after one or two years would get costly otherwise. I always look at these guys in vitage Rangers and think those are really cool boats. I have an 05 619...I figure I have another 20 years before I look cool and vitage in my old ride...they're going to have to bury me in it 'cause I don't see myself needing anything else. |

| The 2 best days in my "boating" life besides marrying my wife are
!. The day I bought my first boat
2. The day I bought a RANGER
The third day until today was looking at that sparkling beauty in the garage. |

Location: Grand Rapids, MI | best days for a boat owner...
the day you become a Ranger boat owner ; )
1st 50 in your boat
The day the Merc blows up and you have to put a Suzuki on it... ; )
the days you net friends first muskies or PB's..
When the Merc blows up??? You must be the 1 in 1,000,000 customers it happens to. My boat is a '92 Maxum fiberglass fish\ski package. Not the most awesome boat out there, but it floats. '93 Mercury 115, and since it was purchased, I have put less than $1000 into it. Most of the cost was after a 3 yr period of letting the boat just sit with no use. Had to get the carbs completely gutted and cleaned, tune-up... Like I said - less than $1000 into it in 16 years. GO MERCURY!!!
Edit: By the way, Michael, how much you selling this boat for? Free shipping? |

| it sounds like a bunch of other people had one of those "best boat days" this weekend, with Tuffy selling in the neighborhood of 10 new boats at the Milwaukee show. welcome and congratulations to all the new Tuffy owners!
Jim: sorry, my boat is already gone, but there are lots of other quality used rigs for sale in our classified ads section. (all kinds: Tuffys, Rangers, Lunds, etc.)

I'd have to say this is first. Without this happening nothing else is possible. |

Not at all, one may say whatever one wishes about any brand, as long as what is said is within our posting permissions. That's the way it is, has been, and always will be. Simple stuff, really...Skeeter, Lund, G3, Sarcraft, Ranger, Mercury, Bombardier, Suzuki, Honda, Yamaha, and all the rest....all great brands and all great products. And all deserving the respect due a solid, dependable product. bn knows that, but like most of us he just can't resist tossing a stone once in awhile. No harm, no foul.
Best two days for me as a boat owner? When I get my new rig, and when she slides off the trailer and into the Goon in July...and that's every time she does.

Also looking very much forward to selling my current boat and getting back into a Tuffy.
