I was in Pastikas recently and saw a small bit of Scott Kieper's new DVD. There are some giants on there. From the short time I watched, it seems he's got a good one. Pastikas didn't know when they would be available...can anyone tell me where to get my hands on one of them? Is there a website?
Thanks,
Gino

Scott should have these at the Milwaukee show this weekend. Talked to a buddy who watched it and said it's got a bunch of big'uns, and is 2 hours long. Can't wait to get a copy at the show.

Hi Gino- Thanks for taking an interest in our DVD. I can answer your questions. If you go to In The Zone Outdoors.com you will find info. about our DVD. It will be on sale this weekend at the Milwaukee Expo. We only have a limited number of copies to sell for the show, but we expect to receive the next shipment by Feb. 23rd. It is also available through Paypal on the website. If you're at the show this weekend, stop by Kieper's booth to say Hi.

I picked up a copy last night, and watched aabout 1/2 of it before I had to head up to bed. Some VERY nice WISCONSIN fish on this video. I thought the livebait segment was really good, and the old guy setting the hooks is priceless.
Def. worth checking out this video if you come across it. Also the "at dusk" fish that Scott caught is just HUGE, now I wanna catch one that big.

I watched the whole DVD also and thought it was great. That old guy is priceless, almost falls down setting the hook, then gets another crack at a fish!

I watched the video today after I got home from the show, pretty good video. The thing I liked about it was showing the clients catching the fish, and yes that guy setting the hook was a blast, also the very end of the video of the sucker talking about peta. And I love that musky smell also, would make a great fragrance if you could bottle it someway.

i finally got a chance to watch this one for the second time through, and i like it even better than the first time i watched it.

i haven't seen any of the other new videos out this year yet (Go Fish, etc.) but this one is fun. it's a cool aspect of technology that people are able to make good quality and entertaining "home movies" and share them with all of us so easily.

There were a lot of great DVDs' put out this year. Go Fish, G. Thomas', etc. But Scott and Guy's puts a smile on my face because all of the fish are Wisconsin fish. Not to mention all within 45 minutes of Hayward. If you haven't seen this -it's a must for your library. Loved the PETA quick clip at the end-I'm still laughing!

Does this video have much educational/instructional value or is it mostly cool because it features Hayward area fish? Not knocking it if it isn't educational, just wondering how it's laid out.

There is a lot of educational value. Scott breaks down 3 tactics to fish musky. Casting trolling and live bait. Each segment shares a lot of valuable info. It's not just catching-it also shows you how.

I just watched it yesterday(thanks Sloan) and thought it was great. Scott gives lots of info. There is much to be learned , from tackle , techniques and baitfish location/movement. These guys looked like they had a blast putting this together and as already stated, all fish from Sconnie, including a 49" Tiger and a cow that was in the 45lb. class. Awesome!

One of the best I have seen IMO! Entertaining, lots of action, not a bunch of sailor talk, and some educational stuff mixed in. Scott definitely brings his enthusiasm to the viewer, and makes you want to get out there and fish.

I could be wrong but I think it might be their own music. Guy Mittlestat might have a part in that?

It's a bummer that Small Pond Monsters II hasn't come out yet. It has even bigger fish then part one. Perhaps this maybe the year Scott gets it edited and out?? I sure hope so!

Ya, A lot of tunes from "Drunk Drivers- Model Citizen" cd on that Movie. You can sample listen and purchase their music at CDBaby. "Bourbon Legend" is another good cd from D-Drivers.
Great DVD, and great music on it. C'mon Scott- WE NEED MORE!!!!!
