Anyone use this line? Any likes or dislikes about it. Its getting that time of year to think about what line to use next year and power pro's quality control just isn't cutting it anymore.

Any comments would be appreciated.

I have used it for about ten yrs now. Back then it was just Ripcord. The original Ripcord was thicker and therefor was better for topwater fishing (which i like). Today's Si is very thin and dense and doesn't float, but I still like it. I use to buy filler spools, but I now get the 1000 yard spools. It lasts a long time and I don't have the issues with backlashes I do with Power Pro. I use power Pro an get a backlash, most likely I need to get out the line pick. Most times with the Ripcord, I just need to give the line a good pull and it free up.

Great line i will continue to use it.

My fishing buddies and I use it and like it. My friend doesn't like the Si-X, but loves the Si. I haven't used it (Si-X).
