I must be getting old

Age must be creeping up on me faster than I thought. About ten days ago as we were getting all packed up to go to the R & H tourney in Minocqua. I put 2 pair of sunglasses, 1 pair of fingerless gloves and my camera in a bag of some kind, plastic, paper, duffle etc. Really don't remember what I stuffed them into. Any way I put them all somewhere for the trip. Remember now we were using my partners boat 'cause mine was sick. That was the last time I saw any of those items. Now there might be more stuff lost than that, I just can't seem to remember. Not only can I not find these things, I don't even know yet how much stuff I may have lost. So now it's off to buy a new camera before this weekends match against treats. If anyone should happen to find a bag of some sort with all of those goodies in it, enjoy. I will have all new stuff by that time anyway.[:(]

When I first started my knots were bad...I have lost hundreds of muskie lures. I lost my first of the year year last night when night fishing...on the hottest bait I had. Course the doc casts like a bullet...and ended up in the top of the trees:( I will miss it By the way, if anyone has a doc, I'll take it off their hands.

I hope you forget more then that buy this weekend. I just cursed myself by picking up Shady as a partner [:p] We've got the number of a couple 50"ers last night so it'll be on: quality vs. quantity. I know that we won't be catching more then you guys, we're hoping to make it up in a nice bonus fish. We'll see...

I ALWAYS forget something when I go fishing. One time I forgot my bag with licenses/reels/unhooking tools/spinners/camera/... so I had to drive a hour and a halve back home and then drive back to Holland to go and fish. That taught me a valuable lessen. I forgot what it was, but it was a good one!

Next trip: forgot a rod, my coat and boots

next trip: forgot my box with lures but I remembered the rod and coat this time. Now that was painfull!!!!!!!!!![:knockout:] [:blackeye:] But did we laugh afterwards or what? Well, mostly it were the others that I was fishign with but that said, we did laugh our heads off.[]

I'm only 37 and yesterday when I was almost home from my 3.5 hours drive from my weekend fishing trip when I remembered leaving 2 boat seats and my battery charger in the boat house. Thank god my first clients of the year for the 16th happen to be at the same lodge and will be bringning them to me when they come up here. Man would of been expensive shipping as there is now way I am going to have the time to drive 7+ hours to get my stuff. [::)]
