I've seen several people using Yarcraft on the weekend shows. Are they trying to have a larger presence in Wisc. ?

I was wondering the same thing. They've been on Keyes for the past couple years now but now I see Bucher went to them. Seems like he changes sponsors frequently. It seems like Abu reels are for him instead of st. croix even though he still uses their rods.

Yarcraft seems like they make a decent boat and affordable.

Yar-craft has been made in Wisconsin (since about '04 i think), so it makes sense for them to promote their boats in settings that reach potential customers in their home area.

and Joe was actually with Princecraft for a pretty long time before his recent move to Yar-craft.

Sponsors and money. If an angler is "using" a particular product on the show.... they're getting paid to use the product. My buddy Tommy (The Great Skarlito) told me a loooong time ago that the fishing industry is a "Whores Business". Hahahahahahaha. Key word there being 'business'. Oh, and Yar-Craft makes a sweet rig. Stevie G's tiller was awesome last season with a 175 Suzi. Very impressed by the layout as well as performance, especially in the rough stuff.
