Not that there is anything wrong with the 10"er, but I see that Storm has an 8" size of the kickin minnow out now. Has anyone had a chance to use it yet? Is the action as good as its big brother? Anyone have a picture of one next to a 10"?

I have heard the same thing about the 8." I heard they did not swim as well as the 10"...after I bought 6 of them. Great looking bait though. Someone please tell me they have better action than archeynut and others have reported.

Me and a buddy have them and they look awesome to me, although all I've caught on one is a mean two pound largemouth.

I was afraid that mey be the case. The 8" kickin slab was not very good, and I was afraid it would lose some action by shrinking it down.

I bought one and agree that it does not have the same action as the 10"... not as good as the 6" either.

Before I consider an 8" kickin minnow I will have to have more luck using the 10" one.
I've only had a couple of follows, which the fish didn't seem to be all that interested. It's hard for me to have much faith in using one. Perhaps someone can tell more about how and when to use the kickin minnow.

When should I be using them?
Is there any special way to work them?

I'm confident that the 8" Kickin Minnow will trick a few fish- maybe the key to better action is in using a lighter leader?
Question to those who experienced trouble with it: what kind of leader were you using and do you think that may have been the problem?

Same leader used for the 6" and that model still swims fine.

I used the 8 before ice up and found the 8 to not have enough weight in it, going a little fast would make the bait roll to one side. it needs more weight IMO. other then that It should get smoked.
