| anyone tried these. do you use the pre-rigged double hook or rig yourself with some kind of magnum hook? |

Location: Browerville, Minnesota | One of the guys at Operation Muskie last summer used one for a few days. He had great action on the bait, much to everyones surprise. I don't think he was using the 12"ers, but he caught a couple of fish on them. Not sure how he had it rigged up either. |

Location: SE, WI. | Sluggo's are very versatile lures. You basically texas rig these big plastics with the large sluggo hook. Work with twitches like a #18 or husky jerk rapalas. Only because it is texas rigged, you can work through weeds. Just drives fish wild when lure is grinding through the weeds. I made a mold for sluggo's years ago. I think they are 9" baits.  |

Location: ashtabula ohio | after ya texas rig em, put a double hook with heat shrink tubing on the belly of the bait{attached to your texas hook} much better hooking percentages..and they work in spring!! |
