| So, when doing thru wire construction do you attach the two cut ends ?
Thanks,

Location: Muskegon Michigan | That depends on which type of thru wire you are doing.
For instance a crane bait which uses soft wire has a complete double wire form layed into a slot. The two ends are connected with a small lead pocket.
On my Deepthreats the wire in single strand thru the lure with the wire going double thru the lip and into the body to the first belly hanger. The tail is wound around itself. I use .078 halfhard stainless wire. You can pull a car with one of my baits. Kingfisher |

Location: Muskegon Michigan | Half hard is the temper. It is in the middle between spring temper and annealed(soft) If that .078 was spring temper I wouold not be able to bend it with pliers ha ha ha . Kingfisher |
