Muskies are spreading to greater and greater parts of North America. If you're taking a muskie-fishing vacation trip this year, where are you headed?

There's no way I listed them all, so feel free to add your own options, but try to keep them regional rather than a single lake.

After you vote, tell us about your plans!

Well since I moved out here to Utah, I'll count that because every day is like vacation to me, and I'll be fishing quite a bit on the job. I found out we have 60 inch tigers and 70 inch carp out here, so I'm after those!

But as for true musky plans, my dad and I have discussed a trip to Wabigoon, pushing off the Alaska adventure for a bit. We'll see what plans get made, but I think the Goon would be an enjoyable trip.

Wow... I WILL get up to the hideout this year to fish with Mr Worrall, probably in the late June timeframe. (We've been talking about it for what, three years, Steve?) Then the 4th of July week up in Presque Isle area. Then the usual first week in August up on Eagle. Hoping to add a second week some time in September, just can't get enough of Eagle. Beyond that, late October in Vilas for at least a long weekend, but I'm also thinking about heading up for the Cisco spawn in November. If I can get a few days in down South of Vilas after that before things freeze up I'll do that too. Probably end the season with a day or two in the Webster/Tippe/Barbee chain area once WI is done.

Now that I think about it, I ought to try fishing In IL more than once this year. You know, since I live here and all... Also on the list is to hit the Yahara chain for a few days mid-end of Septemper. Missed the early fall cooldown last year....

Have reservations for July 25-Aug1 on Vermilion. 3rd visit there...starting to get a feel some non-community spots and alternate patterns when stones are cold.

Can't wait.

Mississippi River/St. Croix sometime in June or July. Not basing my trip on trophy potential. A fish is a fish

Already started burning vacation time up at the cabin in Land O Lakes. Most of my 20+ days of vacation will be up there..as will most of my 8 sick days!

My license plate says "UP2VILS" for a reason.

Two weeks up on LOTW fishing out of Uncle Frank's joint.  Can't wait, should be awesome.  Get to use the knowledge of the lake I learned during Operation Muskie last year from some all time greats!!

Myself and three (or more) others are heading to Vieux Desert this summer. Never been there before, but am going with my good buddy's uncle that has been there quite a bit. Don't know when exactly though. Already can't wait.

I had planned on and was dearly looking forward to a trip back east for the Vermilion outing but it looks like a conflict w/ a very important family obligation will preclude that. Summer may go by without a 'destination' type trip. Rather I'll be fishing local and hoping to join a fall trip.

Muskiefirst outing in August right now, with a trip to lake of the woods in July. I might try to get another trip to lake of the woods somewhere in there, but only time will tell on that one...

Not going to get on the water anywhere near as much as I have been able to in the past... That part stinks...

We are going to take a week long family vacation in the Bemidji area in late July. It will be our last hurrah before dad (me)has to start into football for the fall. Should be a blast. May keep the boat on the trailer and stay mobile.

Vermilion outing for sure!! hopefully a couple trips over to the metro with Wader, slight possiblitly going to long legged with a good friend of mine, and a couple trips up to duluth with my bro and his friend. Maybe a trip to LOTW for muskys/deer in the fall. Just hoping to economy stay decent enough to be able to afford all this.

Well, considering Oneida and Vilas counties are basically my backyard, that'll be where I'll spend majority of my time fishing like I have been the past however many years. A trip to the Goon probably in August and maybe the Vermillion outing, hopefully.

I will be spending more time in Vilas in the Boulder area and some time in Oneida. I am also gonna try Door this year in the Little Sturgen area. Hoping to attend the Muskie First outing in August!
