| I'm going to pick up a couple of shimano tdrs to do a bit of trolling this year. Which model/models should I get for general purpose trolling? Thanks |

Location: Appleton | I've used anything from 7' to 9' in both medium action and medium heavy and they both work fine. I guess I would lean towards medium heavy if I was going to buy some more. |

| I would get the 8' Heavy..they aren't very stiff and can troll big to little baits |
