Subject: Musky, 2 Speed reels


Does anyone know how the older Abu Garcia 2 Speed reels work? . I am not sure how the shifting to lower/higher gear works. Are these reels Musky worthy, can they pull in the big blades? Thanks for any help......Jr.

Location: Richland Center, WI.		I know the reel you are talking about. The Abu Garcia 2 speed reel. I purchased one a while back and asked the same question. If you do a search you will find the responses I received. Still have the reel but have yet to use it.

I was thinking that they are 6 to 1, until there is drag being taken out and then it goes to 3 to 1 But I am just guessing.
