| Is there a way to tell the difference between them by looking at them? Is there any visual clues that can help me? |

Now this is on the original sledge baits. I don't know about the new ones. I know that Randy Shutt marked which model the lure was on the package, but not the lure itself. |

| How do you guys like the sledge? I haven't been able to use mine yet, but I have the unweighted model. |

| There is a 1/2 oz. lead disc located on the flat forward portion of the bait. It is descernable with light colored baits when held up to a bright light. Adding a 1/2 oz. bell sinker to the front hook hanger of an unweighted sledge makes the bait run with more left/right action than the factory weighted sledge and about a foot deeper than the unweighted model. |

Location: North Canton, Ohio 44720 | The sledge bait is one of my favorite lures. Fish really hammer it. I don't care for the unweighted model, but I have read that other guys like it. Maybe someone could chime in on this. The 6" weighted model is also good. |
