Has anyone seen the latest LOTW Navionic card? I currently using a 2004 card and would like to upgrade if the latest version offers any more detail. Thanks

I have not actually seen one of the new Navionics chips, however, if you haven't already watched this clip taken at the NPAA meeting, I think it will provide you some valid information. From the sounds of what Jeff at Navionics says, the data from as early as two years ago is basically obsolete and is really considered old technology. So to answer your question, will the LOTW chip be better, I'd have to say yes, they've now had five years to refine the data since your 2004 chip was made.

From what I've seen is there's lot's more detail, but not much more accuracy.
The Navonics folks where on the LOTWs this fall, and mapping away. I would
expect some great things in a year or two.
