| what is everyones favorite lure for stained water? also what is everyone favorite color lure for stained water? Now I know most of the lakes some of you guys fish are fairly clear but some of the lakes I fish are can get pretty stained at times... and I haven't had much luck fishing it. I would think POP of topwaters or vibration of bucktails would be good lures to throw in stained water... and the brighter the color of the lure the better?
Any inout would be great

Location: Dixon, IL | Firetiger and bright orange is good color also if your lake have lot of shad then shad color is good, too!
If your lake is heavy fishing pressure and everybody throw firetiger then you try something different like bright walleye or perch color....wouldn't hurt to try something different!

Location: SE Wisconsin | You know, I tend to lean towards dirty yellows and black/orange!! A couple baits I think shine well in tannin stained lakes are in particular, Musky Magic's Slidin' Shad - They just came out with a custom "Tannic walleye" pattern that looks REAL HOT, as well as a full line up of other great patterns!! Love the red around the eye, too. Wiley has an awesome "pike" color that I first tried on Boom Lake with great responses from a couple mid-forties that particular day! Otherwise, black/orange . . . Black/Red w/gold glitter.
