Me and MJ hit it yesterday. He got on the water around 8 and I didn't get down there til about 1:30. Winds were blowing hard all day...20-30mph gusts with a steady 15mph wind constantly. But it was worth it, we fished til about 5:30 and between the two of us we got 6 fish! Not to mention my very first(AND SECOND) musky ever! Here they are....The first two pics were taken when Mj was by himself....

Mj's first for the day....48 inches

Mj's second...40 inches

Mj's third...49 inches(Mj's PB so far)

Mj's fourth...another 40

My First Ever!!! 38 inches

My second Ever!!! 47 inches!

Needless to say, We had a GREAT Day!

Ya'll you know there are no fish in TN, so why torture all these nice "Yankees" that are suffering from hardwater.

That's not right. My thermometer shows 11 below right now.

Those are nice fish - only 5 more months until I can fish muskies again.

BRMusky is complaining that it's 11 Below in Bemidji.... wonder if he's interested in trading our Canada trip for a trip to TN to see the BeachBum's Momma? Or waddaya say we think about a Winter fishing trip down south one of these years?

Who Knew TN had Muskies? I thought it was all Mountains and Moonshine...

Bubba TN - we're jealous of you - each and every one of us "snowed in yankees" - good work.

just havin a little fun my southern state friends ---I did'nt hate the big T too bad until I went to college in alabama and my 2 best buddies were UT lovers. after 3 years of UT talk and them decorating my car after UK loses I kinda grew a dislike for them --- it was in good fun -- Both of them run drug stores one in Lake cIty and 1 in Lafollette . FWIW --caught a 39 , raised 2 larger ones out of a small stream last week , location ? near my ol kentucky home . hope to make down there sometime ----MD

Missourimuskyhunter,

The green foliage is shrubbery (green all year long) and is present along most of the shoreline on this body of water. Look at the trees no leaves, all of the fish that you are referring to were caught last week 1/07/09 – 1/10/09.

That’s me in the last set of pictures with the maroon Llungen hat and camo bibs. That fish was caught on 01/10/09.

Southwest Missouri is still a ways form east TN.

Keith
