| Anybody checked out these new trucks and their ability to tow. They sure look good. |

Location: Elk River, Minnesota | Pretty tough to beat the HEMI when it comes to towing power for gasoline. If you are looking for heavy towing, go with the lower gear ratio if you can find it. The lower gearing will give you a bit more towing power...especially when just starting out. The new rear suspension is very intriguing since it no longer has leaf springs. I'm betting it rides very smoothly as compared.
The front end is awesome on that truck....whoever designed the front end really gave it a stance. Much better look than my 03. I have the 5.7 hemi and it pulls my boat (nothing huge..maybe 3000 pounds total) with ease. I barely feel it is there....and that is with the higher gear ratio and larger tires.
Definitely worth a good look-see. Lots of new features like the fuel saving touches (shutting down cylinders when the extra power is not needed).

| Thanks for your insight Steve. They sure do look nice. I really like the cutouts in the rear bumper the the dual exhaust. Still trying to find someone that has one for more info. |

The only thing wrong with it is that the towing capability was lowered a little bit due to the coil spring suspension. I believe its 7500 lbs, which is still more than any of our boats weigh. |

Not going to happen. They were in talks, but it never happened. The new crew cab Rams are inbetween the size of the old quad cab and mega cab. The mega cab never took off because it was just too much. |

| You can get about 10 grand off the 08's. Then again, you're better off paying full price for a Chevy

Umm. DaimlerChrysler does not exist. Chrysler is rid of 80.1% of that curse. And Chrsyler will be around for many years to come. They've been around since 1924, and Dodge has been around since 1914. They have been through tough times before. Don't believe everything TV says.

I spend 8 hours a day studying the fundamentals of companies and totally disagree with your thoughts....What year did Bear Stearns and Lehman Bros. start? How long a company has been around does nothing to predict their future... They were given enough cash to get them through the next couple of months....the rest is a speculation and guessing....but as you can see nobody is lining up to buy them, which is usually a pretty telling sign. Crazy times for sure. |

Unlike GM, they have some money in the bank to start with. They also have some great products coming out in the next couple years that their competitors do not have. |

| I really don't see the government letting any of them go out of business. We'll see. |
