Thought this might be a place where lure makers can show off there new gear for the show and custom colors as well. I know most of us Musky guys are suckers for new baits and new colors...well at least I am.

Here is a custom show lure, I think this a really sexy shad color. I only have limited numbers of these in 6”, 9”, 11” and a couple in the Mammoth Curly Sue.

I really like that pattern, and think that the painting of plastics is a very nice improvement to already killer color patterns. I can see adding perch bars, scale patterns and highlights or contrasting color stripes and the like. Looking forward to seeing them in person. I think that I might have 2 or 3 spots in a tackle box for some of those this year.

SuperDs will be there! Rollie and Helens just picked up a batch to take.
I will also be donating a variety of most of my other lures for the food shelf drive and swap meet. I know most of you have seen pictures but never held them or seen them in person. I will also be donating two #1 off the line SuperDs signed and dated for those of you who collect lures. I only give out a few of these a year for a good cause.

For those of you looking for new DVDs to help pass the winter months, RedFin Outdoors has a new DVD that will be available beginning at the Chicago Show titled "Perfect Timing - Solar/Lunar Muskies". The DVD is 90 minutes long and features Brad Hoppe, Jason Hamernick, Bill Buechner and a host of others and has some of the best boatside action captured on film. Check out a clip of the video here: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=r7QzQE1ewnY
Additionally, Gregg Thomas will also have a new DVD available titled "Spring Muskies - Early Season Ideas". In keeping with his first DVD, Gregg has done a great job of blending helpful instruction with great fishing action.

This will be the first time having a booth or speaking at this show. I am excited to have the chance.
Premiering at this show and new for Lee Lures Surface Baits is the "Tidal Wave". For those of you familiar with the sound of my "Water Chopper", you will love this bait. It has the sound of the Chopper but times two! Running at slow speeds, or burning it over two foot waves, it performs in any conditions.
I will only be producing 100 of these this season due to lack of time and difficulty of making.
I will also have new colored customs of Choppers, Top H20's, Top H20 HD's, Creepshows, Hot Wings, and a few Double Choppers.

Read in early Dec. that MOJO won't be at the show does anyone know who or if anyone will have some of the new colors I read about. Or if possibly some of those bigger Weagles will be around. Seems since I read that thread I've been on here waiting anxiously.

Michelle and I will be in the Pastikas booth for the second straight season. Talonz will be introducing two new lures to our lineup this spring. We have completed the new Claw in the twitch crank version. This lure is built tough tough tough. 8 inches and 5/8th thick . Another new lure is the upscaled Rippin Shad which is 8 inches as well and should fill the demand for the lack of bigger Tuff Shads these days. True thru wire and built real tough again. We will also have our Dragon Claws, Deepthreats in two sizes and lots of Slashers and Little Claws. Stop in and visit us , Mike and Michelle King Talonz Lures

I will not be at the show, but I do have some sexy new colors in the works in Wabulls, WA Wabulls, Weagles, and 10" Weagles.
I plan to offer them to the Muskie First crew as part of a Kickoff to 2009 deal. I should have them up within the next day or so.

What we did was up scale a 5 inch Rippin Shad body. Used our Rippin shad round cornered lip and built it with complete wire thru and 3/16th lexan instead of 1/8th. This lure runs as good as the 5 inch Tuff Shads did when they were built from Cedar. I think it is one of my best creations. Ill post a picture tonight. I am putting them all on the clear coat tumbler right now. I will only have 20 at the Show ,they will go fast.

All these posts are making me go crazy! I will be on a tight budget since I need/want some new accessories/performance parts for the truck and boat, but just might be putting those off for a while!
Musky Armor will have the new Krisco Crankbaits in some sweet guide series colors by Chad Cain, Dennis Radloff, and Gregg Thomas. This is sure to be a great lure year round, north and south for both trollers and casters.
The new Nut Buster mag willow will also be at the show. I caught some of my biggest Bass on this spinnerbait... not to mention the Muskies love them (get the gold blade/white skirt!)!
Musky Armor will also have the new bump boards. If you're in the market, these will be available at a great deal at the Chicago show and possibly Milwaukee. Extra large numbers and color bars on the measurement tape (glossy vinyl) that will last for years. 1 free sidewall replacement if you ever drop it too. Lightweight, durable, folds, and floats. If you have any questions, let me know!

Mike, saw MH on TV today. Good show. That net light is one of those "Why didn't I think of that?" ideas. It'll be great for guys who fish alone. Dare I say, even for walleyes too.
Only 20! I guess I can wait until the season draws near and get mine then. Keep the new stuff coming boys, it's more you can fight over when I croak.

I'll have pictures in a couple days. We will only have about 25 right and 25 left handed bump boards at the Chicago show. (50 total) If we run out there will be an order sheet... If that does happen, I'll probably end up running back home to make some more. The boards will be $50 dollars each. After the shows, they will be $65 shipped.

Trueglide will have a ton of new stuff and lots of one-off custom stuff at the show. Some of the ones that I am excited about:
1. I redid the "Alias" Spinnerbait for 2009. I wanted to incorporate a rubber tail and also wanted it to be easy to "tune". This bait has caught a lot of nice fish last year during testing. Both casting and trolling. It may be the best night time bait I have ever fished with as well!
2. I will have a lot of the new "Havocs" in a bunch of colors ( Smallmouth pictured). These sold out last year in the first 5 minutes- I made more
3. The "Undertow RT". Rt stands for rubbertail, This bait is 14" and comes in shallow and deep diver(shallow pictured). This is the ultimate Big Crankbait! Think 14" Shallow Invader made out of Cedar!!
I made lots of new colors this year as well!!
I will also have Capt Bigfish in the booth selling his new bait the " Headlock". He made them in 10" and 14" this year with a completely new idea in lip design!! Lots of Big fish caught on that bait last year!
Make sure you stop by and say, "Hi". You throw stuff at the Capt as well

These are our Custom Guide Series colors, picked by Chad Cain, Gregg Thomas, Mike Hulbert and Dennis Radloff. Guess who’s color is who’s! The all black with the silver scales is our Night Bite pattern, with the new "Glowin Outdoors" dot on top. Its a small dot but it really shows up great. This stuff is the best glow iv ever seen.
.

With all of the awesome crankbaits on this page, I'll probably have to buy a bigger box for them.
I can't wait.
Love the Krissco with the siver scales and the orange/chartreuse belly. That'll work where I fish, and even where I dont.
Mike, the smaller deep threats are just what ud casters ordered, besides the Shads. Length on those is 8"? Killer stuff, especially in that Whitefish pattern.
Put me down for some of the gay trouts. Purple/pink combo is always an attention getter, and the scales that you ran on that pattern really set if off. I'm bringing a duffle bag to the show, that's how serious I am. Will spend some time with Andy and the flock of Suzies too. The stuff just keeps getting better and better, but the old timers still take fish.
Speaking of which, is Suick going up to 14" this year? I hope so, because that 12"er last year really surpassed the simple claim as a dive rise, and it did things that the 10" never did. Hope they're making them, or I'll have to pull a Dr. Frankenstein and swap parts to attain the desired lenght and

I believe that Swedens best lure builder, Kjelle Lundberg, will attend the Chicago show promoting his glider, "Stalker". It has been a great producer of pike in the 20 to 30 pound range for years in the Baltics. I went to LOTW in august 07 and boated a bunch of muskys as did frienda of mine then and in 08. Most and biggest caught on "Stalker". 51 inch at top.

Had to take a picture with my cell since I didn't bring my camera to the office. The bump board is on a banner fresh off the printer that will be displayed at the chicago show.

People are definately going to want to check out Kyles new SS Shads. His 9.5 incher is SICK...crazy wobble and action.
I used them this fall and was HIGHLY IMPRESSED. Also the foil patters look KILLER in the water. Awesome work Kyle!

Chas, how have you been? I'll be at the show early Friday morning to help set some stuff up, then I'll probably take off for a couple hours to sleep. You going to the swap Saturday night?
