Recently received a postcard from these folks; they sell lake photos which include "superimposed depth contours". Buying a fancy framed shot can run as high as $200+, but, you can download a JPEG file for $9.50. I have a new printer with "advanced photo printing" so I'm going to buy the JPEG map of the lake where I live and frame it myself.
I've been collecting lake and river maps for many years now. Most of my maps are for lakes in MI (including the UP) and northern WI. I have some MN lakes as well. I have a very interesting set of maps of selected Great Lakes shorelines. Please PM me if you are having trouble finding a map of a particular lake in MI, WI or MN and I'll send you a copy if I'm able. | |
